Northwest Louisiana final expense specialists

Know what you’re buying.

A low introductory price doesn’t tell you what your family will receive, whether your premium will go up, or when full coverage begins. We check the policy behind the pitch.

Same-day approval and coverage aren’t guaranteed. Coverage begins only when the insurer’s effective-date and payment requirements are met; policy exclusions apply.

A living room — the kind of ordinary life a final expense policy is meant to protect

Final expense is our specialty

Bring us the policy. Or the postcard.

We start with the carrier and the actual product. Is it whole life insurance with a level premium? Renewable term coverage with scheduled increases? A guaranteed-acceptance policy with limited benefits in the first years? Those differences matter more than the number printed on the envelope.

Our focus is level-premium whole life coverage and finding options without a graded waiting period for applicants who qualify. Ask us about same-day approval and getting coverage in place.

What happens to the price?

We check the premium schedule, not just the first payment. A price that fits today needs to make sense later, too.

When does the full benefit start?

We check for a graded or limited-benefit period and explain what the policy would pay during it.

How long does coverage last?

We check whether coverage is permanent or ends at a specified age or term, and what you must do to keep it in force.

This is not a quote. Health, nicotine, occupation, riders, and the carrier all move the number. Use it to decide whether a conversation is worth your time.

The questions behind the advertisements

The company name on the envelope doesn’t tell us which product you have.

A policy can be used to pay funeral expenses without being permanent, level-premium final expense coverage. That’s why we check the contract rather than relying on what it was called when it was sold. For example, the AARP Life Insurance Program from New York Life says its term product’s rates increase in five-year age bands. The program also offers permanent products with different terms. Bring your policy or a recent notice. We’ll identify the product, look at future premiums, and compare it with level-premium options.
