Second reading · Shreveport & Bossier
Bring the statement. Keep the policy if it still fits.
We will look at what the contract actually does, whether the job has changed, and what you would give up to move. Replacing nothing is a valid result. That is the point of an independent reading.

The job
Income, a funeral, a mortgage, a business — and whether the policy still matches it.
The paper
Amount, term or permanent, premium, riders, cash value, loans, waiting periods.
The trade
If another design is better after costs and underwriting. If not, we say so.
What to bring
A statement is enough to start.
Company name, face amount, premium, issue date, and whether it is term or permanent. A recent notice or the policy jacket is better. Do not send Social Security numbers or medical files through the website.
If the coverage you have is doing the job, you will hear that. Independence means we can say it.
- 01The carrier and the product name on the page — not just what it was called when it was sold
- 02What you pay, and whether that number can change
- 03When full benefits begin, and any waiting period
- 04Cash value, loans, and what happens if you stop paying
- 05Who the beneficiary is, and whether that still matches the household
